We flew from SFO to FRA on United's Business Polaris in a 777-300ER. It's a 1-2-1 configuration. If you are traveling with someone and would like to sit next to him/her, choose an odd number row. The seats are closer together and you can lower the partition between.
The screen is large and there is a storage space under it to hold your cell phone. Right next to the storage space is a USB port.
Underneath, you'll find a space to store your small carry-on. It's also where your feet go when you sleep so don't store anything too large. Just under that is a space for your shoes.
Another storage space with a mirror and place to store your headphone next to the seat. I miss the noise-cancelling headphones.
Amenity bag included an adorable pair of blue striped socks, cleansing wipe, hand cream, lotion, lip balm, eye mask, ear plugs, tissues, toothbrush & toothpaste.
We also got a pair of very soft slippers.
After take-off, we were served warm nuts. I tried the AHA flavored water and I liked the blueberry-pomegranate better than the orange-grapefruit.
I chose the short rib for dinner. The short rib was so tender. It was served with mashed potatoes with roasted turnips and carrots. Green salad with mozzarella and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The mango sorbet dessert was served with the tray. At first I was afraid that the sorbet would be too melted by the time I finished my dinner but the sorbet was rock-hard frozen and by the end of the meal, it was just the right softness. Dinner was not served course by course.
For breakfast, I chose the egg white/kale quiche. The puff pastry crust was not crispy. The chicken sausage that accompanied the quiche was too sweet for my taste.
Business class was full but the rest of the plane had plenty of seats.
