There weren't a lot of options for restaurants that were open near the hotel. We did find this one, located at Via Torre Clementina, 200.
1/2 bottle of Torre di Giano Lungarotti--€7. It's a white wine from Umbria.
My husband ordered the Menu Completo for €25. It was quite a deal with antipasto, primi, secondi, coperto, pane and servicio all included. The antipasto alone was worth it. It was Misto di Mare with 6 types of seafood--smoked salmon, white fish, marinated anchovies, shrimp, pickled calamari, octopus.
And, a bonus mussel dish.
For his primi, he ordered Spaghetti Vongole, which was delicious! The clams were salty and not chewy and the pasta was al dente.
I ordered the Spaghetti alla Scoglio (seafood) off the menu--€12. This was loaded with seafood.
My husband's secondi was calamari, which was lightly fried.
I also ordered a grilled vegetable platter--€6. Mushrooms, onions, zucchini, eggplant and tomatoes. It was good to have vegetables.
