When we landed after our 11-hour flight, we went straight to the Lufthansa Business Lounge to take a shower. There are several lounges and the first one is at the entrance to the A terminal.
Shampoo/conditioner and shower get were available and the rain shower felt good after a long flight.
There were towels, a bath mat and body lotion available.
After our shower, we couldn't find a place to sit in the lounge and went down to A24 where we found the Lufthansa Panorama Lounge. It offers a view of the tarmac.
There was a separate room from the main dining area but it was all tables and chairs. A third room, closer to the restroom and showers, offered more tables. There weren't any lounge chairs.
Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sautéed mushrooms and Nuremberg sausages.
There were also pretzels although they were stale.
We were scheduled in business class on Lufthansa's A321 from FRA to FCO.
This was a joke of a business class. It was basically economy with the middle seat blocked off.
On our flight, the caterer didn't load any food so all we got was water.
Our approach to FCO did afford a nice view of Rome from the left side of the plane. I could see Vatican City and the dome of St. Peters.
This is an area south of Rome where the buildings look like coliseums.
