It was a 45-minute drive from Caccamo to Monreale. We arrived at lunchtime and the Cattedrale di Monreale was closed for the lunch break so we had lunch at Osteriat Peper's. It was around the corner from the Cattedrale and we found parking in front. They had several outdoor tables.
Gnocchi with Bacon, Gorgonzola, Radish and Almonds-- €10. This had a nice taste and the gnocchi was prepared just right. I didn't see any radish though.
Pasta with Tomatoes, Eggplant, Basil and Toasted Almonds-- €9. This was also very good. The pasta was perfectly al dente.
