From Catania, it was a 50 minute drive to Mt. Etna. Along the drive, we passed lava flows.

As you enter Mt. Etna, there are souvenir shacks.
You can also find postcards of various eruptions. Some were quite impressive.
There are hikes you can do in the area that will take you closer to some craters.
