If you have a car, it's easier to stay in Siracusa, rather than Ortigia. There are too many ZTL zones in Ortigia to figure out what to avoid.


We stayed at the Hotel Piccolo Casa Mia. There is no onsite parking but there is free parking on the streets. You may need to park a few blocks away.

-restaurants nearby: yes


2. Transportation:

-easy to find: yes

-parking: free parking on street--may be difficult to find


3. Room:

-size: 183 sf

-noise level: some road noise

-bed: comfortable

-bathroom:

-shower pressure: good

-amenities: slippers, bathrobe: no

-amenities:

-safe: no

-fridge: no

-electric tea kettle: no

-coffee maker: no

-free bottled water: no

-English channels: no


4. Hotel:

-elevator: yes


5. Breakfast:

-included: yes

-variety: okay. Hard boiled eggs, salame, breads, fruit.



Our room had a Juliet balcony overlooking the street.
