Bel Soggiorno

After Mt. Etna, we drove 1 hour 20 min to Taormina. Our base for the next 2 nights was Bel Soggiorno, with a nice view of the sea. It's located at Via Luigi Pirandello, 60.


1. Location:

-walking distance to sights: yes, but uphill climb

-safety: yes

-restaurants nearby: yes


2. Transportation:

-easy to find: yes

-parking: onsite but spaces are limited

-public transportation: close to bus stop


3. Room:

-size: reserved room with sea view but upgraded to suite with sea view. Sea was visible only on the deck.

-noise level: minimal

-bed: comfortable

-bathroom:

-shower pressure: good

-amenities: slippers, bathrobe: no

-amenities:

-safe: yes

-fridge: yes

-electric tea kettle: yes

-coffee maker: no

-free bottled water: no

-English channels? no


4. Hotel:

-elevator: no but bellhop will carry your bag to your room


5. Breakfast:

-included: yes

-variety: scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, prosciutto, baked goods

served to you
