We had dinner at Ze Manel dos Ossos, a literal hole in the wall. It had a lot of locals so we went inside. It's located at Beco do Forno 10 122.
The restaurant is very small and there were just a few tables. Arrive when it opens for dinner at 7:30 pm to get a table.
Pao--€0.50. Olives--€2. House red wine--€3.50 for 375 ml.
Soup--€1. The soup of the day was creamy minestrone with pasta and it was actually quite tasty and had a lot of flavor. The broth was likely the boiled bones.
The restaurant is know for Ossos. 1/2 portion--€7.60. The bones are boiled until tender. Not bad for such a simple dish.
Chorizo with peppers--€9.70. The chorizo was lean and good.
Overall, the food was good. It's worth dining here if you don't mind the cramped quarters.
