There weren't a lot of lodging options on the Camino in Caminha. We stayed at the Arca Nova Hostel & Guest House. It was clean but it didn't have much frills.
The breakfast area was really crowded in the morning with pilgrims all trying to make an early crossing of the Minho. The Arca arranged for taxis to take pilgrims to the dock, where you paid €6 per person for the private ferry. Taxi price was included. Each boat carried 4-6 passengers.
