I made reservations at an upscale restaurant in town. The Restaurante Baptista is located at Praca Conselheiro Silva Torre 24/26.
We had a nice bottle of Vinho Verde--€12.60.
Salada--€6.50.
Rabalo--€23.70. Served with potatoes and vegetables.
Squid-Ink Linguine with Shrimp--€18.70. This was quite good. The linguine was perfectly al dente and the shrimp flavor was nice. Only complaint was that the shrimp were on the small side.
As we walked back to our hostel, the town square was beautifully lit. The Clock Tower dominates the square.
