It's 5 miles from the Green River Overlook to Upheaval Dome. There's a parking lot, as well as picnic tables and toilets, at the trailhead.

Description: Hike along the rim of this 3-mile wide, 1,000 foot deep crater. The latest theory is that this was formed by a meteor impact roughly 60 million years ago.
There are 2 overlooks. One is in 0.3 miles. Continue on the trail to reach the 2nd overlook 0.5 miles later.
Built in stone steps help make the ascent a little easier.
