After dropping our RV off at Cruise America, we headed home. We stopped at Kohnen's Country Bakery in Tehachapi to have lunch. I called ahead and lunch was ready for pickup when we arrived. Kohnen's is a German bakery located in the historic downtown at 125 W. Tehachapi Blvd.
They're known for their deli sandwiches. Ruben--$9.95. Pastrami, Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut, 1000 Island Dressing on German Rye.
Roast Beef Sandwich--$8.65. I chose it with Cheese bread and it was so good.
The sandwiches come with chips and pickles. This was a good stop.
