Top Things To See in Vila Vicosa

Vila Vicosa is a "marble town." There are quarries nearby along with fields of leftover blocks of marble.

Vila Vicosa was home to the Braganca dynasty, who ruled Portugal until it became a republic. The Pousada was located next to the Paco Ducal de Vila Vicosa, home to the Braganca kings.

Igreja dos Agostinhos is located across from the Paco Ducal.
