Top Things to See in Castelo de Vide

It was a 2.5 hour drive from Viseu to Castelo de Vide. Along the way, we found storks!

Castelo de Vide was the site of a castle before it became a settlement. Enter through the gate to explore the walled town surrounding the castle.

You can climb the tower but hours are limited. After entering through the gate, turn left and check the hours before exploring the rest of the walled town.

You can climb up on the walls but I wouldn't recommend walking the wall.

After leaving the walled town, we explored the old Jewish Quarter, including the Synagogue Museum.
