After Combarro, we drove north to the town of Cambados. It's considered the capital of Albarino. We spent about an hour in town.
We parked near the Parador, where there's plenty of free street parking and walked into the old town.
The Igrexa de San Bieito (Church of San Benito) dates from the 15th century. The building is Neoclassical, its bell towers are Baroque and the interior is Gothic.
Nearby is the Palacio and Praza de San Fefinans. It is now a bodega. You can spend some time visiting different bodegas in town and tasting wine.
Drive to the eastern edge of town and park. Take a short walk to the Torre de San Sadurnino, a lighthouse that was destroyed in an earthquake in 1756.
