Tasquinha das Mares is located on the Camino in Lavra. It's right on the beach. It opens at noon and is closed on Sundays. Arrive a few minutes early to snag a table.

They had the best bread--€1.80 per serving. Pricy but definitely worth it.

Salada--€4. Large enough for 3 people.

We saw others ordering the Pires Petinga (small fried fish)--€5. These were delicious. You can eat the whole fish, head and bones included but I liked taking the bones out by splitting the fish in half and removing the bones.

We ordered the robalo (sea bream)--€32/kg. This was €89.92, split amongst 6. It was fresh and delicious simply grilled.

The fish came with potatoes

and vegetables.
