Sultan Mediterranean Grill

TravelingFoodie2

After Dead Horse Point State Park, we drove 33 miles to Moab, in search of lunch. Moab had a lot of construction and it took over an hour to drive to the restaurant. I had read great reviews about the Sultan Mediterranean Grill on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It's located at 574 North Main Street.

The Baba Ghanoush--$7 was disappointing. It wasn't very smoky and the portion was small.

Grape Leaves--$8 for 5. Another disappointment. The rolls were small and there wasn't much flavor.

Falafel Sandwich--$13 for 4 falafels and a small salad. I'm used to the great flavor of the falafels at Falafel Drive-In in San Jose so these were a big disappointment.

Gyro Sandwich--$13. The meat was not flavorful.

Overall, two BIG thumbs down!
