Oviedo's old quarter is easily walkable. Start at the Catedral.

The Town Hall sits in the Plaza de la Constitucion.

Mercado El Fontan is nearby. The marketplace is housed in a Victorian building, built in the 1880s.

The Mercado is named after the nearby El Fontan, the spring that filled the lagoon in the area.
