Scenic Southern Drive

Drive the main road for 18 miles (35 minutes) all the way to the end at Rainbow Point. On the way back, stop at the viewpoints. It'll take 4 hours to stop at all the viewpoints.

If you don't have a car, there is a Rainbow Bus Tour that makes the same drive. It's free and leaves twice daily, at 9 am and 1:30 pm. The tour is 3 hours long. You can make reservations up to 48 hours in advance by calling (435) 834-5290.

At each stop, it's usually a short walk to see the viewpoint but there are also hiking options.

From Rainbow Point, you can also take the Under-the-Rim Trail back to Bryce Point.

At the other end of the parking lot for Rainbow Point, you'll find Yovimpa Point.

Yovimpa Point looks out on the southern end of the park and there are several hiking options.

At Farview Point, there was a food truck selling hot dogs.

At Bryce Point, look south and you can see Hat Shop

Look in the other direction to find the Alligator.

At Inspiration Point, there are 3 different viewpoints on the trail.
