Roquino

TravelingFoodie2

Attached to our hotel was Roquino, the restaurant. It was bustling but we were able to get a table after a 15-minute wait.

They offered a €11 menu del dia. For the starter, you had a choice of tomato soup. It wasn't as thick as gazpacho.

Other options included a salad with cheese, dates and walnuts.

Another option was a Nicoise salad.

For the main, there was fried sole with French fries.

Chicken fideo.

One of the options for dessert was ice cream.

The other was much better--apple crumble.
