Downstairs at the Casa do Rio Charm Suites is Rio by Paulo Andre. It is a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. We made reservations when we arrived at the hotel.
Couvert--€2.50 per person. It included a bread basket with amazing seeded bread and olive oil, seasoned butter with red onion jam.
Salada tepida (warm)--€9.
Foie gras--€14. Not a big piece but so good!
Seared seabass with risotto--€24.
Duck Magret with mushroom risotto—€21. This was beautifully prepared and one of the highlights of the meal.
Guiness Cake--€9. Beautifully presented but I'm not a big fan of beer in my cake.
