You can hike or mountain bike in Dead Horse Point State Park. We hiked the West & East Rim Trail, as well as Big Horn Overlook trail.

Description: From Dead Horse Point Overlook, we hiked on the West Rim Trail, stopping to see the Meander Overlook. We took the 0.25 mile spur to see Shafer Canyon Overlook and another 0.25 mile spur to see Rim Overlook. We also took the 1.25 mile spur to see Big Horn Overlook. After returning to the West Rim trail, we went to the Visitor Center then took the East Rim Trail back to Dead Horse Point Overlook.
The trail is sandy but easy to walk.
