Quinta de Marrocos

TravelingFoodie2

We stopped at Quinta de Marrocos to sample their port. It's a small mom & pop winery that is one of the oldest in the Duoro. It produces only 125,000 bottles/year. We didn't have reservations but they were able to accommodate us.

The main winery is small. They have a small cottage that you can rent. You can tour the vineyards and winery or you can just sample the port.

We chose to just sample the port. We tried a 20 year old tawny for €10. It was okay but not spectacular.
