Pinhao

From Vila Real, it was a 50-minute drive to Pinhao.

The main sight in Pinhao is the train station.

Azulejos on the walls depict the grape harvest and costumes of the Duoro.

The train station is small.

The other sight is the Vintage House, a 5-star hotel that used to be a winery. It's situated on the Duoro River.

Pinhao is also on the Camino de Santiago.

Next time, we might take the train from Porto to Pinhao then hop on a 1-hour cruise on the Duoro and visit 1-2 quintas before returning to Porto.
