Parador de Pontevedra

The Parador de Pontevedra was a nice splurge on the Camino. They offer a Peregrinas special, standard double with breakfast for €128.36. You do need to show your Camino passport.

The parador is a 16th-century Renaissance palace, the residence of the Counts of Maceda.

The rooms are large and beautiful.

Breakfast was special with freshly made churros and fresh squeezed orange juice, in addition to all kinds of jamon and pastries.

You could also order eggs any style.
