Parada de Francos, Teo, Spain

Our final lodging before reaching Santiago de Compostela was in Teo at Parada de Francos. The Camino goes right by it.

It's a beautiful stone building with clean and modern rooms.

View of the Camino from our window.

They have a restaurant onsite. It's a good thing because there isn't anything else around. The food was pricey but pretty good quality. You could order off the menu or get the 3-course dinner for €30.

For the first course, we chose Spinach Roll with Smoked Salmon and Cheese with Tomato Cream. This surprisingly had good flavor. The other option was an apple and orange salad.

The main was Beef Stew or Baked Corvina. The beef was actually a hunk of meat in a sauce.

The corvina was thin and tasted frozen.

Dessert was Homemade Cheesecake or Lemon Cream. The cheesecake was light and it was a small portion.

Breakfast the next morning was a Ham & Cheese Sandwich, Croissants and Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice. There was no fruit.
