The Mercado Municipal--a covered market operating Mon-Sat from 9 am-1 pm. It's busiest on Mondays and Saturdays.

The fish stalls inside the market are in a separate room.

Art exhibit near the river. This one featured the china of Pedro & Ines.

Alcobaca, along with Obidos, are known for producing ginjinha. You can stop by for a taste and even purchase a 100 ml bottle that can be carried on the plane.
