There are many hikes within Valley of Fire State Park. Mouse's Tank was named after an outlaw who hid in the area in the 1890s.

Description: flat trail on sand with petroglyphs and canyon

Sandstone formations found along the trail.


You'll also find petroglyphs.



Mouse's Tank is a natural basin in the rock where water collects after rainfalls, sometimes remaining for months.
