My other favorite place in Oxnard is Moqueca, located at 3550 Harbor Blvd.
The Moqueca Mista de Mariscoes (mixed seafood)--$22 is my favorite. The flavor is unique and so good! Tomato, onion and cilantro sauce cooked in a clay pot with garlic, lime juice, urucum (Brazilian seasoning) and coconut milk. It's served with rice.
We also tried the Brazilian Stroganoff--$20. You have a choice of beef or chicken, rice or noodles. This was also very good but I prefer the Moqueca.
