Monument Valley is part of the Navajo Nation Reservation located on the Arizona-Utah state line, near the Four Corners area. It's been featured in many films, including "Forrest Gump."
You can see parts of it as you drive south on Hwy 163.
This is the iconic scene where Forrest Gump decides he's run far enough and turns back home. He had run 3 years, 2 months, 14 days and 16 hours.
Entry to Monument Valley is $20 per vehicle for up to 4 passengers. Each additional passenger is $6. This gives you access to the 17-mile Valley Drive.
Unfortunately, the park was closed due to COVID.
From Hwy 163, you can still see many of the rock formations.
