Migros is a grocery store that has a nice deli & bakery. They have several locations in Basel.
A smoked ham hock was CHF7.50 each. This was tender, flavorful and full of meat.
We also got a strawberry tart-- CHF3.3. Flaky and full of strawberries.
Two cookies for CHF1.80 each. Both were buttery and good.

Living in Switzerland for a school year (oldest daughter in 2021-22 and mom in 1980s!) we loved both the Migros and Co-op for a quick, yummy, easy food stop. They're located nearly everywhere, even in train stations and airports!
