Anatolia, Basel

We didn't have dinner plans and were walking by Anatolia, a Turkish restaurant. They had a nice outdoor area so we stopped to have dinner. It's located at Leonhardsberg 1, in the center of town.

Baba Ganusch--CHF11. This was unlike any baba ghanoush I have ever had. The eggplant was pureed and it was served with sliced tomatoes and peppers. Not very smoky.

The bread that was served was good--soft on the inside.

Menu Salatasi--CHF8. We ordered a side salad. This was not a big serving. Just enough for 1 person.

Adana Kebap--CHF27. The kebap needed more spices.

Adana Iskender--CHF28. This was just the Adana Kebap with yogurt and served on bread.

Overall, dinner was very disappointing. Service was incredibly slow and to top it off, we were charged CHF2 for each cup of lukewarm tap water. Don't waste your time.
