Lisbon's Trolleys

Lisbon's historic trolleys are fun to ride. Use your Viva Viagem card and tap as you enter. The Trolley stops are marked with an "E" behind the number.

Trolleys can get really crowded. Try to ride them early in the day or late in the evening. It's much more enjoyable to enjoy the trolley while sitting rather than trying to steady yourself on the jostling ride.

Trolley #12E is a 20-minute loop ride through the Praca da Figueira, Castelo & Alfama.

Trolley #15E takes you to Belem.

Trolley #24E gives you a taste of everyday Lisbon life. From Praca Luis de Camoes, you'll pass Principe Real and its park, the cistern at the end of the aqueduct, the Amoreiras mall and end at Campolide. You can return via trolley or walk to Edward VII park and return via Avenida da Liberdade.

Trolley #28E is the scenic ride through old town.
