We had a hard time finding a place for lunch in Monforte de Lemos. We had hoped to have pulpo but there was no open place. It was too early for a sit-down lunch so we ended up at Lienzo, located at rua do cardenal 20, in the pedestrian zone of town.
They had a Menu del Dia for €10, including bread, drink, dessert and cafe. There's a nice outdoor area--extra €0.50 to sit outdoors.
One of the options for the first course was a Salad.
Another option was an Octopus Empanada. This had a curry flavor and I was not a fan.
One option for the main was Churrasco--Grilled Meat. The sausage was quite flavorful.
Another option for the main was Chuleton--Pork Chop. This was okay, a little on the dry side.
Dessert was a Flan.
Overall, lunch was okay. I wish we had stayed at the Parador to have lunch.
