The next morning, we woke up before dawn to make our drive to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. We came upon a herd of buffalos en route.
Entry to the Grand Canyon is $30 for 7 days, free with the America the Beautiful annual pass. The North Rim gets only 1/10 the number of visitors to the South Rim.
