Iberia Airlines and Arrival at MAD

This was our first flight on Iberia and it was okay. We paid $35 for each transatlantic leg to be sure we sat with our traveling companions. The leg room was adequate.

One of the options for dinner was Beef in BBQ Sauce. The beef was tender and it was served with yam and peas. The tabbouleh salad had salty cheese and I didn't care for it. The mango panna cotta was okay. The roll was warm, a nice touch.

Just before landing at 2pm, we were given a light snack--a sandwich and a blueberry muffine. Nothing exciting.

The Customs Line in Madrid was fast. Priority Pass has 5 lounges at Madrid Barajas Airport. We made our way to the Plaza Mayor VIP Sala Lounge in Terminal 4. There was a long wait to get in. By the time we got into the lounge, we had time to use the restroom and grab a quick snack. Thee are showers available but we didn't have enough time.
