Hiking Near the Parador

There are several hiking trails near the Parador. We chose the Ruta Penedos do Castro, a 3.8 km loop trail.

Pick up a. map at the front desk and follow the brown trail to the top of a hill for the Mirador de O Castro. From the Parador, walk up the road, through the little village and follow the trail.

The trail is pretty easy to follow and there is signage along the way.

You'll find a nice view of the Parador.

You can see the bridge over the Sil River.

And, in the distance, the village of Pardela, which is on the trail.
