After our tour of Quinta do Panascal, we had lunch at Foz do Tavora, right on the Duoro River.

They had a nice outdoor deck with a beautiful view of the Duoro.

We ordered the Moelas--€5. The chicken gizzards were very tender and the pickled vegetables complemented the dish well.

Caramelized Quails--4 legs and 4 breasts--€7. The quail was very tender and tasty, especially with the caramelized onion.

It was a great lunch in an unexpected location.
