Fairyland Trail

From our campsite, we were able to walk to the Rim Trail to connect with the Fairyland Loop Trail.

Trail Details:

Moderate

Distance: 8.8 mile

Elevation gain: 1716 feet

Time: 4 hours

Loop: yes

Description: from North Campground, take the Rim Trail—flat, 1 hour to Fairyland Outlook. Descend nearly 1000 feet. Multiple down & ups. Dirt trail, partly shaded. 1st section much more beautiful than 2nd section. Take 200 yard spur to see Tower Bridge. Can continue to see waterfall (if there is enough water present).

From the North Campground, go to Loop C to access the Rim Trail. Walk clockwise toward Fairyland Point.

The Rim Trail is a flat dirt path that overlooks the Bryce Canyon Amphitheatre.

In early October, the leaves were changing.

At Fairyland Point, take the Fairyland Trail to descend into the amphitheatre and walk amongst the hoodoos.

Let your imagination run wild and see if you can visualize a queen on a throne on this hoodoo.

Or, what about a face here.

You'll find multiple windows

and caves.

Take the spur and see Tower Bridge.

Continue beyond the bridge to see if there is enough water in the waterfall.

You'll connect with the Rim Trail near Sunrise Point. Turn right to head towards the North Campground.
