The Ecological Staircase is a nice hike in Caspar. It's part of the Jug Handle State Natural Reserve. There is free parking at the trailhead.

Description: Park at the Jug Handle State Natural Reserve. Follow the trail under Hwy 1 and take the staircase down. Hike all the way to the end then retrace your steps. At the end, take the trail down to the beach.
