Dona Taska

After touring the Castle of the Knights Templar, we drove an hour to Coimbra. Lunch was at Dona Taska, located at Av. João das Regras 86 in Coimbra.

Indoor and outdoor dining are available.

Olives--€1.60.

Padron Peppers--€4.90.

Chanfana--€12.50. This was a goat stew that was marinated in red wine. It was tender, full of flavor and not gamey at all.

The chinfana came with spinach, carrots and potatoes.
