At the Parador Santo Estevo, there are 2 dining options: a restaurant and a cafe. I tried to make reservations for the restaurant in advance but was unable to do so. No worries, ask at check in and you can get a table for the evening.
The restaurant is beautiful. There is also an outdoor terrace.
Amuse Bouche--octopus with aioli.
We had a bottle of Godello--€25
Pizarra de Cecina Curada Pimentada con Palos de Harina de Otro Costal--1/2 racion for €10. This is air dried cured meat.
Las Croquetas de Paradores--€6 for 1/2 racion of 5 croquetas. These were so good. The potatoes were so smooth.
Salmorejo, Helado de Pimientos de Hebron DOP, Migas Crujientes Especiades--€12.50. This was a very interesting salmorejo with pimiento ice under the soup.
Pulpo a la Plancha con Emulsion de Pimientos, Albahaca, Cáchelos y Salsa de Yogurt--€21. It was a small portion but the octopus was well prepared.
