Today was an easy day. I wanted to arrive in Pontevedra early so we could tour it in the afternoon. Our walk took us from Arcade—Balteiro—Pontevedra, 15.8 km (9.5 mi), 4:17, 174m up/233m down. It was through forest, along the road, gravel paths and through small towns. The Camino definitely got more crowded as the Coastal and Central route combined after Redondela.

Just an hour south of Pontevedra, in Bertola, you'll find Capela de Santa Marta, built in the 1600s. It's a popular place to rest.
A couple km before Pontevedra, take the river trail. It's not longer but more picturesque
