Today, we walked Vigo—Redondela—Cesantes—Arcade. It was slated to be 16.4 km (9.8 mi), 4:31, 199m up/172m down but we somehow ended up walking 12.9 miles, 6.5 hours.

The walk took us on pretty country roads,

through woods,

and along stone paths. It was a peaceful walk.

Arriving in Redondela, we found these trash and recycling bins, including one for cooking oil.

There are a few sights to see in Redondela. Stop at the Oficina de Turismo on Rua Isidoro Queimalinos and get a map. You can also get a sella (stamp) for your Camino passport.

Igrexa de Santiago was erected in the 15th century and dedicated to St. James.

You can see a sculpture of him riding a horse.

Os Eidos Cemetery is in the center of Redondela. It was built in 1830. There are elaborate mausoleums and a mass grave with the remains of 42 republicans murdered during the Spanish Civil War.
