Our next trip was to Ventura, California. We rented another RV from Cruise America. Fillmore was the closest location but it's not a corporate location. We didn't get an orientation so it was good that we had rented before.

The Fillmore location has limited availability--they don't have the compact RV or the truck camper. We rented the standard RV--a 25-footer.

ree

The standard RV has great storage and it even came with a folding table.

ree

The cab is the same as the compact RV. There are 2 cigarette lighters but no USB ports.

ree

The dinette can accommodate 4 people.

ree

Extra seat, as found in the compact RV.

ree

The bed above the cab is 57" x 96"--not as wide but longer than a queen (60" x 80").

ree

Separate bed in the back of the camper. It's 54" x 80"--an extra-long full.

ree

The kitchen has a 2-burner stove, a microwave and a large sink.

ree

Good size refrigerator with a good size freezer.

ree

Small sink outside the bathroom.

ree

The shower is separated from the toilet.

ree

Good size closet.

The standard RV was definitely more comfortable than the compact 19-foot RV. I liked the second bed and the shower separated from the toilet. It is more difficult to park--it doesn't fit in a parking space and it is slightly more difficult to drive. The gas mileage was roughly the same though.
