Cocedero Bar La Piedra, Vigo, Spain

We arrived in Vigo around 2pm, just in time for lunch. In addition to restaurants, you can find vendors selling oysters on Rua Pescaderia. Pay for the oysters to be shucked then find a table at any restaurant and the oysters will be brought to you.

We sat down at Cocedero Bar La Piedra, located at Rua Pescaderia 3.

From the oyster men, we ordered 2 different types of oysters. They were not cheap at €2 each.

Racion of Pimientos--€5.

Racion of Berberechos--€14. These were so sweet and good.

Marisco Platter for 4--€70. I didn't think this was as good as the platter we had on a previous trip at Casa Vella, just a couple doors down. This platter had langostinos (large prawns), navajas (razor clams), gambas (shrimp), almejas (clams), zamburinas (scallops), mejilones (mussels) but it didn't have cigalas (crawfish) or stone crab claws.

We had sangria with lunch--€15 for a jarra grande.
