Lunch in Burgos was at Casa Pancho, located at C San Lorenzo, 13

Croqueta--€1.90. This was creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside, just the way a croqueta should be.

Cojonudo--€1.40. Cojonudo was a slice of morcilla with a poached quail egg and red hot pepper.

Tigre--€1.90. Soldadito--€2.70. The Tigre is a mussel with béchamel sauce and the Soldadito is deep fried cod.

Morcilla--€8.50. Morcilla is blood sausage. This was prepared Burgos style, which means onions are sautéed with butter, then combined with rice, lard, blood, and spices. They were then pan-fried.
