We stayed at Casa da Reina, a rural B&B located at Caminho do Pardinheiro, nº122, Chafé.

The property has a main house with guest rooms.

The rooms feature a private bathroom, living area with a sofa and a TV.

ree

The bathroom was modern.

There was a separate guesthouse with several bedrooms and a kitchen, perfect for a family.

ree

There was an outdoor pool.

ree

There were no restaurants within walking distance. I asked the owner if she could make dinner for us. She offered either meat or fish. We chose the fish dinner—€17.50 per person. Dinner started with bread, olives and cilantro butter.

ree

Sopa legume.

ree

The baked fish with potatoes were delicious. Salad and fruit were also included. Quite a nice meal.

ree

Breakfast the next morning was good. There were eggs, bacon, cold cuts, pastries and juice.
