On our first day, we stopped for lunch at Brasao in Foz. It was 4.2 miles and 1h 30m from the Se Catedral. I had made reservations but on a Monday, it wasn't necessary.
Salad with Goat Cheese--€14. This was enough for 2.
Francesinha with Egg--€13.60. A francesinha is a large Portuguese sandwich composed of layers of meat, topped with cheese, and covered with a rich beer sauce. It's filling. We split it in 2.
French fries--€3.60. We thought this was included with the francesinha but it was an additional charge. Skip it--limp and not crispy.
