Atarazana, Ourense

A 30-minute drive from the Parador de Santo Estevo, Ourense is the capital of the province of Ourense in Galicia. It is on the Portuguese Camino de Santiago.

Atarazana is located at Rua dos Fornos, 11 in the old town.

It's near the Catedral de Ourense.

We ordered the Menu Especial--€19, a 3-course meal which included a nice glass of white wine.

One of the starter options was Zamburinas. The scallops were simply prepared--grilled and drizzled with olive oil but they were so good!

We also ordered the Pulpos a Feira--octopus with olive oil and paprika.

We both had the Merluza as the main. It included a couple Padron Peppers and fries.

Dessert was housemade Rice Pudding.

And ice cream.

Lunch was quite good and I would come back again when I'm in Ourense.
